    A Culture of Questioning

    Sandbox Films is a documentary studio that illuminates the art of scientific inquiry: humankind’s weird, messy, brilliant way of navigating the world. Sandbox Films collaborates with boundary-pushing directors including Werner Herzog, Theo Anthony, and Noah Hutton.

    GrandArmy developed a positioning, redrawn logo, and full identity system for Sandbox Films. Minimalist geometry pulled from classic charts and diagrams, is fused with a playful and experimental typographic palette. A nod to the history of scientific discovery, yet with a primary focus on the future.

    The brand identity extends across copywriting, print collateral, logo animation, website art direction, social media guidelines and packaging.
